Religious Facilities

Religious institutions are some of the most iconic buildings within a community however they are costly to maintain and congregations often have scarce resources to dedicate to capital projects. Moreover, these buildings are often viewed as gathering spaces within the community, serving a variety of people beyond their parishioners. Increasingly, congregations are turning to historic tax credits to offset the massive cost of renovating their places of worship. CPG has worked with representatives from a variety of faiths and localities to ensure their rehabilitation efforts are appropriate for their historic houses of worship and, in some instances, receive historic tax credits which are then syndicated.
